"There was no question when CAP came to us that we would help," says Neil Symon, MD of Foghound Studio.

"Our motto is 'whatever it takes' and that's how we felt about CAP. It's been fantastic working with such a dedicated team as CAP on such a meaningful project that is uplifting the lives of many young South Africans. We hope the video we have produced will motivate other individuals and companies to get involved."

The video captures life in Diepsloot and the need for corporates and individuals to become involved.

Says producer Sonja Hodgen, "The support we received from the industry in making this video was amazing. Magus Visual, Digital Films, MCC, Shine animation and The Video Lab, our fantastic freelance crew, DOP Kobus Swart and sound Leon Rivas all donated time and equipment for this really worth charity initiative."

The video was shot on Magus' latest HD camera, the HDW-R900R and edited on Foghound's DS Nitris, ensuring the very highest quality for transfer for cinema.

Beat the Drum premiered at Nu Metro Monte Casino on Sunday, 12 November 2006.
