The biggest ever Screen Africa Industry Golf Day

There are 192 players who will compete for the Screen Africa trophy and a range of other big prizes at the industry golf day this Thursday, 17 October at the CMR Golf Course in Roodepoort.

Shield Insurance has also announced that the first golfer to achieve a hole in one on the 8th hole will drive away in a brand new Mini Cooper which will be parked next to the hole.

Gaby Keyser, the organiser of the day, says that if anyone forgot to book, he is still accepting bookings for the morning field but you will need to let him know by 3pm today. He can be contacted on Tel 011 678-5114 or Cell 082 967 7669.

The latest count indicates that more than 210 people will attend the dinner and prize giving.

Visual Alchemy will fly in professional golfers Mauritz Leen and Norman Mashaba from Cape Town to teach the Gautengers a lesson! Golfers can relax, however. They will play but not participate in the competition. Also attending the day's golf will be Editor of Golf Digest On Line, Bernhardt Mosterd.

Another highlight of the day will be a golf clinic and demonstration by Mauritz Leen which will take place at 5pm. This is your chance to get some hot tips from a great pro.
