Moir's extends brand into biscuits

Moir's has extended its wide range of quality baking products by entering the biscuit market. From October 2011, classics such as Marie, Tea Lovers, Lemon Creams, Munch-a-Lot, Chocolate Dreams and Choc Krust biscuits will be available under the brand's label, and will retail from R6-R17.

"To extend the brand into a ready-to-eat offering completed our product basket," says Snowy Krüger, marketing manager of Moir's. "We are thrilled with the results of the biscuits in our new range, both in terms of quality and taste and hope to indulge our customers with great tasting, yet affordable favourites and innovations."

Some of South Africa's biscuit classics will be made in the new, state of the art biscuit plant in Clayville, Gauteng. Packaging was designed by Cape Town based design agency, Creative Performance, and printed by Afripack (Flexible) and Golden Era (cartons).
