So who got lucky? Garnier, that's who. Beda will appear in the national campaigns for the new Garnier Oil Control Complete.
The deal is a renewable yearly contract that is worth "thousands of rands", according to Beda.
The past five years have been successful for her. She has been a Face of Legit, and has snapped up roles on YoTV, The AXE Sweet Life and Selimathunzi.
Beda told the Sowetan that she could not believe it when she was told by her agent that she had been short-listed for the campaign.
"I discovered a long time ago that to be yourself is cool. I know I do not fit into what people think cool is but this works for me, " she said.
Instantly recognised by her trademark smile and distinctive style, Beda is renowned throughout the country as the bubbly Selimathunzi host on SABC 1, and the dazzling Face of Legit Party fashion line.
Garnier spokesperson Stephane Grenier, said Beda's striking looks and fresh-faced appeal made her the natural choice for the new Oil Control Complete.
"There's no doubting Zizo's appeal. She's feisty, funny and of course, simply gorgeous. But perhaps more importantly, she's in touch with her needs as a young South African woman, looking after her body, caring for herself and giving back to the less fortunate communities around her.
"Zizo really is the complete package that perfectly reflects the complete solution offered by Garnier's Oil Control Complete," Grenier said.
Beda will promote the brand on TV, in print and in Internet adverts across the world. Her first advert campaign is set for next month.
