ANCYL most miffed with media
NEWSWATCH: The ANCYL is very cross with the media for suggesting that Julius Malema hasn't kept his promises, reports Mail & Guardian, and the ANC is hypocritical when it comes to freedom of speech, says the FF+, according to Politicsweb.

- Mail & Guardian: Youth league stung by 'spiteful' reports... Speaking of promises, how can you blame Jules for not keeping his promises - let's face it, he makes so many it would be cruel to expect him to remember them all. The ANCYL reckons, however, that the media is being 'spiteful' for pointing out their Dear Leader's shortcomings. Tell that to the schoolchildren who got their shoes only when Bobby Skinstad stepped in, or the school still awaiting their 50 wheelchairs, and a couple of other people still agog with anticipation - such as the Sonke Gender Justice Network.
- Politicsweb: ANC hypocritical on freedom of speech - FF+... 'It is ironic that the ANC wants to restrict the media but uses freedom of speech to justify their dangerous inciting hate speech.' Ironic indeed, but entirely expected - it's a case of 'dubul' standards, see?
