SABC: So who's the boss?
NEWSWATCH: Phil Molefe's contentious appointment as head of news has, according to numerous media reports, been overturned by the board - so effectively he is not head of news. Yet, if another report is accurate, he is allegedly telling newsroom staff - who since he is not head of news presumably do not report to him - to follow his instructions regarding news reports on his appointment/non-appointment, reports IOL, which also reports that a new committee of Muslims wants Zapiro and the Mail & Guardian to apologise for what they regard as an offensive cartoon published recently.

For more:
- IOL: SABC news boss in censorship row... Just when you thought the story couldn't get any stranger, it seems Molefe is telling newsroom staff what to do and how to do it - where it concerns him, anyway.
- IOL: 'A case of freedom to insult' Zapiro's cartoon of the Prophet has stirred up a lot of anger in the Muslim community.
