Tracking Trends corporate publication conference coming up
For the first time in many years, a conference addressing the needs of corporate publication practitioners and industrial journalists will be held in South Africa. The Tracking Trends conference takes place in Pretoria on 28 and 29 October and links up with the award ceremony of the annual corporate publication competition, which has been organised by the SA Publication Forum for the past three years.
The conference will address the latest trends in the field of corporate publications and will cover pertinent topics such as what is new in design and technology, advertising and branding. There will also be interesting sessions on multi-cultural messaging in a corporate environment and the latest on issues such as intellectual property.
Entrants to this year's corporate publication competition will find out whose publication takes top honours at a gala awards ceremony held on the evening of 28 October. Previous winners of this prestigious awards were The Standard, Standard Bank's staff newspaper in 2002 and Cover, a corporate publication aimed at advertising agencies and published by New Media in 2003. Jeremy Maggs, media expert and commentator will be the MC at this event.
For more information, the complete programme and registration details on this exciting corporate communications event, visit SA Publication Forum's website at www.sapublicationforum.co.za.
