Entries for the Workers World Media Productions 2010 labour media awards must be in by Friday 19 February 2010. Entries must have been written or produced and published or broadcast during 2009 only and any individual and/or organisation will be allowed a maximum of two entries in each category.

Promote the views and voices of the labour movement within the mainstream media and the South African public
Acknowledge, support and promote the contributions of individual trade unionists, supporters/writers, media producers and artists in the sphere of labour media and art
Promote labour media as an important component of democracy in South Africa
Encourage and support the production of labour media within the trade union movement towards strengthening their organisational and political capacity.
