Lotus staff strike
NEWSWATCH: Twelve permanent staff of Lotus FM have vowed to remain on strike until their station manager is removed, reports IOL, which also reports that former SABC chair Khanyi Mkhonza is to give the Pretoria News-Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) Public Lecture this month. Back at the SABC, auditors this week began a four-week stint working through the broadcaster's budget to establish what was spent and why, and where economies can be made, reports IOL.
