Fears of a Confed Cup blackout
NEWSWATCH: The SABC is due to hold talks with one union on 15 June 2009, but the union claims the broadcaster has reneged on a pay deal, so if the talks fail, there are fears of a blackout of the Confed Cup, according to IOL, which also reports that the broadcaster met with the TV Industry Emergency Coalition (TVIEC) yesterday, Tuesday 2 June, and says it is determined to resolve the issues it has with the coalition. Meanwhile, Microsoft wants to turn the name of its new search engine, Bing, into a verb, according to the Mail & Guardian Online.
