Corporate Publication Competition calls for entries
Corporate publication practitioners are invited to enter their publications in the 2008 SA Publication Forum's Corporate Publication Competition. Entries close in the first week of July 2008.
This competition, presented for the past seven years, offers editors and designers a chance to benchmark their publications against the best in the industry and to obtain valuable feedback from a panel of top judges who have a thorough understanding of the corporate publication world.
Last year saw 150 publications entered, from the humble staff newsletter to glossy once-off publications of major South African companies. Contact, staff newspaper of the City of Cape Town, received top honours in 2007, while Shireen Sedres and Beatrice Moore-Nöthnagel, both from Santam, shared the top spot as Editor-of-the-Year. Santam also won the award for the best internal magazine for essence and best external magazine on a smaller budget for Santam Focus.
