SA to host international media monitoring congress
FIBEP is an international federation of media monitoring companies of which Newsclip Media Monitoring South Africa is the only member in Africa. Said Lynne Dabbs of Newsclip Media Monitoring: "At the recent FIBEP Congress held in Berlin, there was overwhelming support from members to hold the congress in South Africa. As it's the first time the congress will be held in Africa, it's a boost for our international profile."
The FIBEP Congress, which is held once every 18 months, attracts about 100 delegates from media monitoring companies in 38 countries. The congress is a series of workshops and discussion groups where delegates share ideas and assist one another to solve problems and increase efficiencies.
