Wieden & Kennedy partners with local agency
Peet Pienaar, creative director of Daddy buy me a pony, says: "It is always our aim to benchmark ourselves against the best international agencies. Weiden & Kennedy reviewed work from around the world and decided on three creative hot shops, from other parts of the world, as partners for their project to take their Nike brand to the next level internationally."
The project starts off with work focusing on Gavin Henson, the rugby player earmarked to become bigger than Beckham in sport terms and boyfriend of pop sensation Charlotte Church.
Charl Nel, managing director of 9November, says: "This project is one of a few international projects that we working on at the moment. We find that these projects yield a much higher margin than our local projects and I expect our company to increasingly become involved along these lines."
