A roaring good show
Sue Rooney, Universal McCann regional media director, has been selected as a Media Lions judge for the 52nd Cannes International Advertising Festival.
The Cannes Lions officiators invite global representatives to nominate industry leaders as judges every year. This year, CineMARK was asked to nominate candidates for the Film, Radio, Cyber and Direct Marketing juries, as well as a media judge to represent South Africa.
A respected member of the industry, Sue Rooney started her career in media 12 years ago at McCann-Erickson. After running her own media consultancy, Rooney was recently reappointed to Universal McCann as regional media director overseeing all McCann's South African business, as well as all their Pan African clients across the continent.
