Another door opens in the Cape
The Agency has opened its doors in Cape Town with a full service offering and Ian Farrow, founding member of Y&R in SA, as managing director. The Agency, which rates in the top 10 advertising agencies in the country, has billings in excess of R300 million and a black empowerment shareholding of 74%.
It handles client services on the Cape Town Routes Unlimited account as well as Dunn's clothing chain, Picardi Rebel, Namchar, Curity Baby Products and Trend Sales & Marketing.
"The opening of the Cape Town office not only allows us greater interaction and flexibility with our existing Cape-based clients, but it also allows us to more aggressively recruit new business in the region," says Khotso Tilo, managing director of The Agency.
"The Agency handles a number of accounts with offices in JHB and CT so it makes strategic sense to have an agency that understands the entire brand but can also handle the regional aspects and provide clients with a direct and immediate interface."
