The closing date for entries to Pendoring 2011 is Monday 15 August 2011 and judging, under chairmanship of award-wining Jan Teulingkx of Saatchi & Saatchi in Brussels, takes place 1-3 September. This year there are new categories and bigger prizes.

Teulingkx worked as a copywriter in the hot shop Mortierbrigade before he took on a job as, what he called junior creative director at Saatchi & Saatchi in Brussels. Since then, the agency has won numerous national and international awards. As ECD, Teulingkx and his teams work on major network clients such as Toyota, Guinness and T-Mobile, as well as several new business projects.

He strongly believes in innovation, story and relevance, but doesn't like the words '360' or 'yes, but it was online'.

The finalists will be announced mid-September and the gala-event takes place on Friday 21 October at Vodaworld, Midrand, Johannesburg.
