How South Africa’s conservation efforts can thrive with Indian partnership

The Code is updated regularly in order to keep pace with changes in South African society as well as within the advertising and marketing industry locally and with general advertising guidelines internationally.
Submissions are invited from the general public as well as consumer associations and members of the industry. Deadlines for submission is 22 March 2002.
The South African Code is based on the International Code of Advertising Practice, prepared by the International Chamber of Commerce. The International Code requires that advertising is legal, decent, honest and truthful, that it is prepared with a sense of responsibility to the consumer and that it conforms to the principles of fair competition in business.
The Code may be viewed on the ASA's website www.asasa.org.za.
