The SABC, as sole sponsor of the travelling exhibition, also acknowledges the importance of inspiring up-and-coming creatives. “The Loeries is an excellent way to educate and motivate budding creative talent. As the country's biggest communicator, it is vital that we play a meaningful role in the development and celebration of South Africa creativity. The SABC's sponsorship of The Loerie Awards is an important element of this,” notes SABC spokesperson, Kaizer Kganyago.
The Loeries Travelling Exhibition, which has visited numerous cities so far this year, including Windhoek, Cape Town and Bloemfontein, will also be moving beyond the African continent later this year when it stops off at The One Show in New York in November.
