It's Gold, Gold and Gold again for Olmeca's Super-Premium Tezón Tequila range! Olmeca's Tezón Blanco, Reposado and Añejo were all recently awarded much-coveted Gold Medals by the world-renowned Beverage Testing Institute in Chicago, this coupled with the distinctive category designation of ‘Exceptional'. This award is yet another feather in the distiller's cap, after attaining Gold at the highly reputed Concours Mondial de Bruxelles earlier this year.
The brand is claimed to be the only tequila to employ the original recipe (which dates back five hundred years) to produce super-premium tequila of the highest standard.
The Chicago Beverage Testing Institute was founded in 1981 with the objective of producing fair and impartial reviews for consumers. Scores are awarded on a 100-point system; where 90 to 95 points indicate an ‘Exceptional' product. Olmeca's Tezón Blanco, Reposado and Añejo were all rated ‘Exceptional'.
