We are looking for a passionate and experienced coffee shop manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our shop.
Job description:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated coffee shop manager to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the coffee industry and or retail industry, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining our high standards of quality and service.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the coffee shop.
- Supervise, train, and schedule staff to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure excellent customer service and address customer inquiries and complaints.
- Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels.
- Ensure the coffee shop is clean, organised, and well-maintained.
- Monitor and manage budgets, sales, and expenses to achieve financial targets.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
- Maintain knowledge of current coffee trends and continuously improve the menu.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Scheduling of staff rosters.
- Proven experience as a coffee shop or retail manager or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of coffee and espresso drinks will be advantageous.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- A degree in hospitality management is a plus.
