Castle Lager launches SA's first double malt beer

South African pale lager, Castle Lager, is launching the first double malt beer from South Africa, Castle Double Malt, to mark the 126th anniversary of the beer's production.

The launch of Castle Double Malt is testament to the brand's pride in its local heritage, combining two carefully selected malts from Caledon and Alrode.

The double malt beer is available in 410ml cans in pearl, green and gold or in green 340ml premium bottles with 4.8% ABV. It will be available in all major retail outlets and online on Takealot and the Bottles app for R79,99 for a six-pack.
