- Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations based on customer needs.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organised sales counter and display area.
- Restock shelves and assist with inventory management.
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.
- Experience: Previous experience in counter sales or a customer service role is advantageous.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of [relevant industry/products, e.g., hardware, paint, etc.] is a plus.
- Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Other: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle cash transactions, and stand for extended periods.
- Friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Team player with a proactive attitude.
