Festival of the retold film comes to Johannesburg
Based on an idea by Bernd Terstegge and realized by Axel Ganz in 1999, Total Recall is a project which is dedicated to the retelling of films - live and in front of an audience. South Africans can now take part in such a festival on 20 April 2012 at Bassline, Newtown, Johannesburg at 5.30pm.
Presented by Goethe-Institut, participants have a maximum of 10 minutes to retell their favourite or worst film, from their point of view.
Without props, recorded sound or images, the best storyteller, voted for by the audience, will receive the Total Recall trophy at the end of the evening.
