Call for nominations for women's book
Mail & Guardian has changed the paradigm of its Book of South African Women this year from top women to unsung, inspirational heroes. The annual will have a new design, up the profile writing and add essays by some top writers.

After seven years as a little black book of women who lead in their field, the focus is on women who are changing South Africa one community, one workplace, one family at a time. These women have the initiative, drive and passion to take the country to a better place, laying the foundation on which South Africa is built.
Nominees that demonstrate the four pillars of leadership: aspire, plan, inspire and execute, should be entered on the website. The publication's team will be in touch with chosen candidates during April and May, with the website and book coming out on 1 August 2012.
