Madhouse, the TV show, is a brand new concept created and produced for etv by Epgworld’s Alejo Juarez Peñalva. It’s billed as a fun, interactive show with a dollop of Latino spice which launched this week with presenters Nobuntu Dubuzana and Nkanyiso Bengu.
Epgworld Africa developed Coca-Cola Mega Millions competition show in South Africa, Namibia, Nigeria and Angola, the Coca-Cola WISH BIG Game Show and the Coca-Cola Take-Off 4 Kick Off Game Show.
"I love South African television, but I thought there was something missing," said Peñalva , "what we need is to have more fun, more spontaneity and less drama. This show is so different to anything else out there, that I decided to call it Madhouse, the TV Show. Just a bunch of crazy, happy people in front of a camera spreading happiness around…"
Madhouse, the TV Show will involve viewers at home as well as the ordinary man-in-the-street, by playing Mad games where the viewers have to guess the outcome of what has been recorded out on the streets. Director and producer Alejo Juarez Peñalva with fellow Argentinean Federico Dunzelman, provides the Latino flavour as the "Crazy Latinos".
