Agency born after long trek

"CAN DO! Trekking for Trash" was a 3,300km, seven month, expedition on foot, along South Africa's coastline to create awareness for the countries' litter problem. Baretta and his trekking partner Camilla Howard managed to collect seven tons of litter, engage thousands of people and generate just under R18m worth of PR for the cause and their sponsors along the way.
"The long days and time to reflect triggered the desire to take my skills in marketing and communication and to put them to good use," says Baretta. Before embarking on the life-changing journey Baretta worked for some of South Africa's leading marketing, media and PR companies.

[dot]GOOD is a full service below-the-line agency that specialises in socially responsible strategies that bridge the gap between the greater good and the bottom line - Uniquely geared towards finding effective and responsible big-picture solutions, they see opportunities where others don't.
"Just doing things well simply isn't enough anymore. To stand out, you have to do things right too. We believe that socially conscious marketing leads to better communications, better relationships, better business, and ultimately, a better world. Our vision is to change the business landscape by creating a community of social change organisations that do good while doing well," concludes Baretta.
[dot]GOOD is working with a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from not-for-profit organisations to FMCG brands, including, World Design Capital 2014, Energizer, Nampak, The Water is Life Project and Mommy Care to name a few.
