Influencers can make your brand go viral!
For years, digital agencies built reputations on the idea that they could create content that would be interesting enough to the audience to go viral. But in a market where a new piece of branded content is published nearly every five minutes - yes really - how do you break through the clutter?
Towards the end of 2016, Joe Public and Emote needed to make a very big noise online. The success of a planned activation hinged on ensuring that South Africa was talking loudly about one thing leading up to it.
Samantha Wright explains that by working with Webfluential and utilising a host of influencers with varying levels of reach, the agencies were able to get #UFOSA trending for four days and ultimately get the campaign to "go viral".
