Kahlua, the full-bodied, rich and sweet mocha liqueur, complemented by Thirst Bar Services and Lavazza, whipped up a storm at the Good Food & Wine Show in the CTICC from the 15th of May to 18th May. The team from Thirst creatively developed a range of Kahlua cocktails and entertained guests right beside the National Coffee Barista Championship stage.
The awe-inspiring lighting highlighted the Thirst bartenders as they dressed the cocktails combining the coffee liqueur and various other ingredients. One of their signature drinks for the event was the Kahlua Ice Latte-Vanilla Vodka, Kahlua, double espresso and shaken with cream and a dash of milk.
Thirsts' own Head of Mixology, Ross Snowdon in conjunction with the host, Pierre Venter-Maher brought the ‘wow' factor to the event while performing four exhibitions a day. This was done with the consumer in mind as they helped develop and demonstrate simple recipes that could be used at home.
Thirst was honoured to be involved in such an event and wish all the finalists of the Barista Championships good luck. We look forward to once again taking part in this event in Johannesburg.
