Shape launches Healthy Food Journal
Shape magazine has launched an A5, 48-page supplement to the July issue, entitled the Shape Food Journal. Now there is no excuse for not eating healthily says the journal's content editor, Kassabaine Petersen.
Research shows that jotting down everything that passes your lips quickly makes you realise how unnecessary snacking creeps into your day, and how easily added kilojoules settle on your hips. Shape, in association with Discovery Vitality's Healthy Food Initiative, brings you the Shape Healthy Food Journal - a one-month plan to better eating and a healthier, slimmer future.
The journal includes lots of space for your personal entries; healthy menus for a month, broken down into four seven-day weeks covering breakfast, lunch, dinner and two snacks in-between; fuss-free recipes you can whip up with ease in the evening; and a week-by-week shopping list.
“Journaling forces you to confront erratic eating; if something's staring back at you in black and white, it's pretty hard to deny,” says Kassabaine Petersen, the journal content editor.
