Title to showcase best shopping, eating spots in Joburg
Launching in May 2009 is Shopping & Eating In the City, the first in a new publication series titled ‘Jozi Places', conceived and developed by Kagiso Special Places and publishers Blue Planet Media to make shopping and eating in its key central Johannesburg management districts - and surrounding areas - a real pleasure, a memorable experience and a cinch.
Designed as a ‘dual front' publication, the ‘Eating in the City' section will feature fine dining, fast-foods, great delis and cultural eating experiences, while the ‘Shopping in the City' section will showcase equally-as-wonderful and fabulous shopping spots, including designer stores, exclusive boutiques, indigenous wear, top brands at bargain prices, accessories and all the fashion fundi needs.
Shopping & Eating in the City will cover the following areas:
- Braamfontein
- China Town (Commissioner Street)
- Fordsburg
- Johannesburg CBD
- Newtown
The centre double page spread - where the two ‘dual' sections meet - will feature an easy-to-use and reference, area map.
Shopping & Eating In the City debuts May 2009 in order to capitalise on the increase in local and international visitors to Johannesburg prior to, during and after the FIFA Confederation Cup kick-off on 14 June 2009.
