New Media repeat Mondi finalist lead
In addition, with eleven nominations, New Media's Afrikaans lifestyle magazine INSIG, which recently won the PICA Rossi Trophy for the best consumer title in the country, again boasts more finalists than any other magazine. "We are extremely lucky to work with the country's top writers," said newly appointed INSIG editor Izelle Venter, "and it comes hot on the heels of the relaunch earlier this week, of our exciting new-look magazine."
At the 2005 Mondi Awards, two journalists and a photographer from New Media stable, Frederick van Zyl Slabbert, Maranda Engelbrecht and Nick Aldridge scooped the coveted Features, At Home and Photography categories respectively.
Winners for the 2006 awards ceremony will be announced at The Arabella Sheraton Grand Hotel in Cape Town on Thursday 18 May 2006.
