The book is aimed at new and established parents and draws largely on Abrahams' personal experiences as a single father of three young girls, Hannah 13, Maddison 7 and Sofia 6.

Abrahams has been writing parenting columns on various online platforms for the last six years. He also hosts the first male-hosted parenting show, currently being repeated on DStv's Channel 319 and available for download via You Tube. He has been interviewed on radio, TV and in print, extensively for his views on effective parenting.
Following an online endorsement of the book and his project to make the book freely available to all SA parents, via parent24.com, Abrahams says he received over 200 downloads of the book in two days.
