Celebrate spring French style with Franschhoek Uncorked at Plaisir de Merle
On spring day weekend (1-2 September 2012), Francophiles can celebrate Franschhoek Uncorked at Plaisir de Merle with a selection of sweet and savoury crêpes, Plaisir de Merle's fine wines and live music of Marelize Zeeman on her electric violin, playing funky rock and jazz.
To add to the festivities, the tasting centre, situated next to the magnificent Cape Dutch manor house, will also be open for wine sales, where visitors can relax in the comfy tasting room, which dates back to 1823.
