think to debate free pitching

On Monday evening, 19 March 2007, the SA Graphic Design Council think will be holding a debate at Sappi Braamfontein at which delegates will discuss the contentious issue of free pitching in the design industry. The 6pm – 8pm debate will be chaired by Jeremy Maggs, and will feature four speakers from various top design firms in South Africa.

The discussion will begin with Gary Harwood, chairperson of think, elaborating on the reasons behind think's no free pitching stance and the positive effect it has had on his business.

Enterprise IG MD David Blyth, Cross Colours MD Adelle Wapnick and Espial's CEO Rudi Kruger will then share their differing opinions on the pitching issue, after which the floor will be opened for all delegates to discuss their points of view.

Tickets for the event cost R30.00, which includes drinks and snacks after the debate.

If you would like to take part in the discussion and air your views, email Sarah Beswick, think operations director, on . Seats are limited.
