    Yahoo!'s 'headache' needs more tablets

    The company fired its chief executive Carol Bartz in September and has now developed a string of new multimedia applications for tablet computers and smartphones.

    According to , product development chief, Blake Irving says that its new Livestand application will provide a multi-media news selection for tablet computers. Its new weather application has been developed for Android-based phones while a new version of IntoNow social application has also been launched.
