Regarded as the 'Oscars' of the global Public Relations industry, 30 countries participated, with a record level of 430 entries.
A variety of local and international campaigns were awarded, with a handful of agencies awarded for more than one category:
- Weber Shandwick - six awards
- Navos and Wintershall Holding - three awards
- Burson-Marsteller - three awards
- Llorente & Cuenca - two awards
- Dentsu Young & Rubicam - two awards
Coming out tops locally, the 2015 Grand Prix and the Outstanding Contribution Special Award was awarded to Atmosphere Communications for their Sanlam One Rand Man campaign.
The annual Golden World Awards (GWA) a public relations' global awards scheme, hosted by International Public Relations Association (IPRA) established 21 years ago for the global public relations community to interact and share best practices.
