Something special for Gauteng's wine lovers

RMB WineX - said to be an 'absolute must' on the Johannesburg wine calendar - takes place on Tuesday 28 to Friday 31 October. Now in its 9th year at the Sandton Convention Centre, one of South Africa's premier wine festivals will present a new face to the country's wine lovers when the new-look décor designed for 2008 is unveiled.
Something special for Gauteng's wine lovers

The event brings together the greatest number of established and new wineries in the Southern Hemisphere. This year, for the first time, multiple passes have been introduced at R200 for three nights. Using the Shop@Show retail facility - via Norman Goodfellows - buyers can arrange for their wine purchases to be delivered directly to their home.

The event is sponsored by Rand Merchant Bank and partnered by British Airways (operated by Comair Limited), The Weekender, Talk Radio 702 and Stephan Welz & Company (in association with Sotheby's) and offers wine lovers the opportunity to experience the many Cape wine routes over four days.

A full list of exhibitors is available on http://www.winex.co.za/ and there's more than wines to enjoy... there's everything that goes with it so that you can enjoy the wine experience to the full.

The organisers have even taken care of anyone who enjoys the event more than perhaps they should have... Corporate Cabs will be on hand to assist visitors."

The company, (http://www.corporatecabs.co.za/) is offering a 10% discount to patrons of the wine festival and will have vehicles on standby at the Sandton Convention Centre on each of the four nights. This year the show has also teamed up with ARA (The Industry Association for Responsible Alcohol Use) to emphasise the message of responsible tasting.
