Some left-of-centre work from Left

Left Post Production has been doing some, well, yes, left-of-centre work recently, what with TBWA Hunt Lascaris' much publicised anti-piracy DVD campaign and editor Saki Bergh working on the new feature film, Bunny Chow.

Working alongside Saki is his producer, Jacqui Pearson; animator and designer Mitch van Straten and musician, Julian Hester; creating a tight knit team that has seen the newly formed Left Post Production already making a name for themselves in the industry.

"Saki is primarily a commercials editor and has been editing for 10 years," says Jacqui, "but he jumped at the opportunity of editing Bunny Chow."

The TBWA Hunt Lascaris piracy DVD "was a small, but powerful job," says Jacqui, "We basically made the picture look like a really bad copy and then a couple of minutes into the playing of the film, we cut to the payoffline that will hopefully shock a few people into the reality of what they are doing."

Two new appointments have also been made as of July 1st: Bronwyn Carmichael will be joining as a trainee editor, and Keno Naidoo comes on board as assistant editor.
