Premier Pigments, a permanent cosmetic pigment and education company, offers advanced training courses worldwide, and Nora Barnard is a Premier Pigments instructor for South Africa as well as the UK. Each participant will receive an AIIC certificate of attendance.
According to Premier Permanent, the typical problems with permanent makeup, such as painful treatment sessions and fading colours, are not reported using Premier Pigments. The reason for this is that the body is iron-deficient and will draw red iron oxide into the blood stream and leave the skin blue. Through research and experience, Premier Pigments found that using non-iron oxide pigments, the problem of colours changing and fading, is solved.
The techniques taught allow complex para-medical procedures to be accomplished such as camouflaging scars, areola and nipple augmentation, vitiligo, burn wounds and other skin imperfections.
