AIIC to host permanent makeup conference

The American Institute of Intradermal Cosmetics will be holding a one-day permanent makeup conference on Monday, 3 October 2011, in Alberton, Gauteng. The conference will be hosted by USA Master Certified Intradermal Cosmetic Artist, Nora Barnard, from Premier Permanent.
AIIC to host permanent makeup conference

According to Nora Barnard, founder of Dream Nails in South Africa 25 years ago, the next generation of makeup, permanent intradermal cosmetics, is now pioneering in our country. Premier Pigments, a permanent cosmetic pigment and education company, offers advanced training courses worldwide, and Nora Barnard is a Premier Pigments instructor for South Africa as well as the UK. Each participant will receive an AIIC certificate of attendance.

What makes Premier Pigment different?

According to Premier Permanent, the typical problems with permanent makeup, such as painful treatment sessions and fading colours, are not reported using Premier Pigments. The reason for this is that the body is iron-deficient and will draw red iron oxide into the blood stream and leave the skin blue. Through research and experience, Premier Pigments found that using non-iron oxide pigments, the problem of colours changing and fading, is solved.

The techniques taught allow complex para-medical procedures to be accomplished such as camouflaging scars, areola and nipple augmentation, vitiligo, burn wounds and other skin imperfections.
