Another great cooking competition from LG
Following on from the very successful 2008 LG Life Tastes Good Cooking Competition, LG Electronics is again calling all the best amateur chefs in South Africa to enter their favourite recipes online with a photo of the dish.
Teams or individuals can enter and the best ones selected will gather at Sandton City Fountain Court for a grand cook off on 26-27 September 2009 and the winning team goes to the global LG Life Tastes Good Cooking Championship in Dubai later this year. Last year, South African Petri Uys, food editor of Your Family magazine, won this competition.
An additional tier to the competition includes a cook-off between aspiring chefs from different cooking schools. The winning chef will win a SolarDOM for his/her respective cooking school. This cook-off will take place on Friday 25 September, before the individual and team competitions.
Anyone with the exception of professional chefs may enter. To enter, submit a favourite recipe together with a photograph of the dish online to the website: www.lgcooking.co.za
