DigitalMark to represent MSN South Africa
New player DigitalMark, a sister company to RadMark, recently launched itself by securing the rights to represent MSN South Africa (za.msn.com), along with its existing radio brand websites, after an incubation period of two years.
DigitalMark represents digital footprints via website and mobile platforms and offers multimedia opportunities to advertisers.
RadMark is a media marketing solutions provider, representing five of South Africa's leading regional radio stations - East Coast Radio, Heart 104.9, Jacaranda 94.2, Kaya FM and Gagasi 99.5. Collectively, the portfolio offers advertisers access to more than 7 million consumers in six provinces every week, with an emphasis on Gauteng, Durban and Cape Town.
Currently MSN South Africa reaches just over 2.7 million unique browsers in South Africa and looks set for growth by offering localised, "snackable" content.
Says DigitalMark sales manager Ian Drummond: "DigitalMark's vision is to become the leading media marketing solutions provider in Africa in the digital space. In the online environment we have a wealth of tools at our disposal, each able to answer different objectives. DigitalMark will provide advertisers with standardised digital solutions but looks to pioneer growth into rich media where a combination of audio, visual and interaction make for a powerful recipe."
Drummond believes that the industry is hungry for digital knowledge and therefore one of DigitalMark's goals will be to assist in fostering the exchange of ideas and knowledge.
"We will do this by conducting 'Web and Breakfast' sessions where we will look to bring in industry experts and thought leaders to impart a deeper understanding of the medium," he says.
