Click Stores to Brick Stores
A study run by Andersen Consulting reveals that 45% of American consumers shop for gift ideas online, while another 50% use online "click stores" to help them decide upon what to buy before going out to the "brick store" to complete their purchase.
It is not surprising then, that most of the top 15 e-tailers have a strong online and offline presence. A phenomenon that is also becoming widely known as "2-channel retailing".
