NEWSWATCH: Bharti and MTN have decided to disengage as they need SA government approval for their planned deal, and that approval is not forthcoming, reports Mail & Guardian Online, and Debora Patta resigned yesterday as editor-in-chief of eNews, but will still be grilling her guests on 3rd Degree, reports Business Day.

The company says the SA government has said that it cannot accept the proposed deal in its present form and since SA government approval is necessary for the tie-up deal, discussions cannot continue.
