Hospitality website goes live
"Many months of focused research, data sifting and creativity have evolved into a visually exciting, incredibly user friendly site which offers not only weekly news updates on every aspect of running, refurbishing, maintaining or managing a hospitality venue, irrespective of size, it also offers a wealth of industry specific information, says New Street Publisher, June Maurhart.
Research undertaken by the development team of the site, revealed the difficulty suppliers experience in reaching their target market and vice versa. The physical as well as the cost dynamics of interacting with the vast and diverse needs
of Sub-Saharan hospitality venues has been daunting, for even the country's largest operators. This is the essence of Hospitality Forum, providing as it does, the perfect tool for gaining access to suppliers of every applicable commodity. These can be sourced by category, by brand or by company, together with contact details. Access is free of charge.
Hospitality Forum follows on New Street Publishing's launch of the bakery industry website: www.thebaker.co.za. Explained Maurhart: "The response to the first website has been phenomenal, with hits not only from the local market, but from international browsers interested in what South African suppliers have to offer. It then occurred to me that if such interest could be generated for what could be termed a relatively small industry, imagine what we could do for the burgeoning hospitality sector?"
Supplier information has been divided into four distinct categories: Food and Beverage, Décor and Lighting, Housekeeping and Management. Editorial news can be sent to: ." Go to: www.hospitalityforum.co.za for more.
