Son Noord editor, husband survive attack

NEWSWATCH: Yesterday, Wednesday, 29 August 2007, Estee Booyens, editor of Cape Son's sister publication Son Noord and her husband successfully fought off an armed attack at their smallholding in Muldersdrift, Gauteng, writes New24.com and The Times also reported that its video interview with Sunday Times editor Mondli Makhanya had been “altered with defamatory content” and posted on YouTube. Meanwhile, according to IOL Technology, the government official responsible for censoring a Wikipedia entry on South Africa's HIV/AIDS policies was suspended last Friday.
