Heart of Italy comes to heart of Johannesburg

The Italian Trade Commission (ITC) is facilitating a one-day workshop mid October 2010 aimed at building architects; interior architects, designers and decorators; professionals in the furniture and industrial design industry; university professors and school teachers and post-graduate students.

Under the theme 'the heART of Italian Design' the ITC will bring some of Italy's most prominent architects and designers to the Turbine Hall in Newtown, Johannesburg on Thursday 14 October.

"The workshop's objective," comments an ITC spokesman, "is to share the Italian finesse when it comes to architectural design, both interior and exterior and pass on our specialists' knowledge in a skilled and proficient manner. Our theme is about celebrating Italian design - and we would like to share our expertise with the world."
