Ogilvy takes flight with six Eagles
The Ogilvy group won four Silver Eagles and two Bronze Eagles at the event, which was celebrated on 6 September at the top of the Carlton Centre.
In the category Best Tactical Use of Medium, Ogilvy Johannesburg and Ogilvy Cape Town won a Silver Eagle each, for Exclusive Books Fanatics "Centrefold" and Car Magazine "Library Book".
In the Corporate category, the agency took home silver for Exclusive Books Fanatics "Madam & Eve", and in the Campaign category, another silver for the Umsobomvu Youth Fund campaign.
The two Bronze Eagles were also won in the Campaign category, for MNet "Channel O", and Exclusive Books "Fanatics".
With 11 of its 20 entries shortlisted as finalists, the agency group also made history by achieving the highest number of shortlists in the history of the Eagle Awards.
The Eagle Print Awards were established by Independent Newspapers to recognise excellence in print advertising in 1996.
