Reeleyes creates a Storm

'Poster' is an unexpected, hard hitting and gritty spot, turning fashion and beauty advertising on its head. Storm, co-sponsors of the recent M-Net Nokia Face 0f Africa competition, approached Murray to storyboard and direct their first ever TVC.
The commercial features three activists from the Anti Beauty League that roam the streets looking for posters of beautiful people to deface, naturally all the beautiful people they come across are Storm models.
Reeleyes producers, Teri-Lin Robertson and Shane Bunce say that they see the move into representing top local directors as a strategic decision. They point out that Reeleyes has in the last five years established itself as one of the top international service companies and is in the perfect position to provide the platform needed for establishing talented up-and-coming local directors.
Says Bunce, "Murray is natural filmmaker, he has 16 years experience as a creative in some of South Africa's top agencies, like O&M, JWT and McCann, which he followed up with a filmmaker's course at the New York Film Academy. He has a superb sense of art direction and an ability to extract strong performances, which give his commercials a distinctive look and soul."
