FREE from Nike
Nike launched a new television commercial in South Africa this week called Power To Your Feet, which explores and celebrates two of the most unsung parts of the body - the feet - to support the launch of the company's new footwear technology called FREE.
FREE comes in both a running and a cross training version and provides the benefits of barefoot training, while protecting the wearer from outdoor obstacles, such as glass or rough terrain.
The Power To Your Feet commercial brings together a host of athletes including Maria Sharapova (tennis player), Roger Federer (tennis player), Ruud van Nislerooy (footballer), Paula Radcliffe (long distance runner) and Wayne Rooney (footballer) to name a few, as they get up close and personal with their feet.
The footwear provides a great deal more freedom than a normal shoe, allowing the toes to flex and grip, creating muscle usage throughout the body and thus strengthening the foot.
