Get entries in now for One Show Entertainment & Interactive

The closing date for entry for the second annual One Show Entertainment Awards is Friday 11 December 2009 for the best branded entertainment work. And don't forget to enter One Show, One Show Design and One Show Interactive!

Categories this year include TV, film, online, gaming, music and live events and installations and this year it is introducing the category of "Branded Applications", including desktop and mobile apps for the iPhone, G2, Palm Pre, etc. The awards ceremony will take place in Los Angeles in February 2010.

One Show Interactive

To keep pace with the fast moving interactive world, One Show Interactive is introducing a groundbreaking new format this year; work will now be judged on a quarterly system with all-new categories. The deadline for the next available quarter is 31 December 2009 and the final quarter's deadline is 31 March 2010. Entries will also be entered into a showcase so that entrants can show off their work before it's judged.

One Show and Design

All One Show and One Show Design entries must be received at The One Club no later than 12 February 2010. With a newly designed website and a streamlined entry process, it is ready to jump-start its 35th anniversary in style. It's gathering some of the world's top creatives to choose the best print, TV, outdoor, integrated, radio and innovative advertising of the year, so don't miss your chance.

The new system allows entrants to upload video and outdoor entries directly through the One Show Online Entry System and enter more entries with the click of a button.

Eligibility

All work must be published or aired for the first time between 1 January 2009 and 8 February 2010. Publication means the advertisement appeared in a form of mass media exposed to a substantial audience. Work produced on behalf of The One Club or One Show is not eligible. Entries must be submitted by any industry professional.

All entries must be submitted with signed approval from the chief creative officer of the entering agency to verify that all work entered is authentic, approved by the client, entered as aired or displayed and is within the spirit of the rules. A client contact, phone number and email must be submitted with each entry.

All necessary paperwork will be automatically generated through our online system and must be submitted with your entry packages. The One Club reserves the right to disqualify entries submitted without proper paperwork verifying the creation of the advertisement.

College competition

This year students entering the One Show College Competition have the opportunity to choose between a non-profit and a for profit client; between high fashion and high ideals. Students can create campaigns for NOOKA, an innovative, internationally sold fashion accessories brand; or Million Trees NYC, a program dedicated to improving the environment by planting one million trees across New York City's five boroughs. In addition, of course, students who are feeling ambitious are more than welcome to work on both assignments.

Entrants must be a college student or enrolled in an accredited advertising or related program. The One Club must approve entrants from non-accredited advertising programs prior to the submission of entries. You are ineligible if you are working in an agency as a copywriter or art director.
